Ref. #5684

  • 100 % online
  • Live course with a tutor
  • Beginner level
  • Hours: 4 (with a 30 min break)
  • Language: French, English, German
  • Age: 12-15 years old.

Through this course, girls play with real-world information on endangered animals. They learn how to identify the reliable sources of data online. Together with a tutor, girls start to experiment with simple formulas to analyse these numbers. The course showcases to young girls how data analysis is accessible to everyone: how analysing and compering numbers can become the most reliable tool for their decision-making.

By the end of the course, each girl develops evidence-based suggestions on endangered animals and become confident with the use of data.

Girls are also invited to attend the Data Visualisation course to transfer their numbers into a visual story.

Empowerment Lab courses are sponsored by the Federal Bureau for Equality between Women and Men whom are supporting the organisation with the financial aid provided for by the Equality Act.

Only an attendance fee applies: CHF 15.-
