What are Values?
Defining your values is a great way in understanding yourself and finding common ground with family members and friends. You will look at the different value sets and get to build your family and friends' profiles.
Class 2
Minimal Yet Powerful
In this class, you will be introduced to APEX - a low code application platform that allows you to build a stunning app with little to no programming. You will get to play with values, data sets, design dynamic charts, icons, badges, media, and much more.
Class 3
Hello, World!
This course introduces you to Structured Query Language (SQL), used to create and design unique data sets with easy-to-use commands! Get to work building a base for just about anything!
Class 4
It's Time to Formulate!
Take all that accumulative data you learned from your friends and family to form a more advanced and accurate version of a friendship matching quiz. In this class, you will form hypotheses based on the values, habits, and interests of your surroundings and develop a simple web app in APEX to prove your chosen hypotheses.

What was also very interesting, especially for teenage girls, was how the lab taught that images are manipulated in media and on social media. It is easier for girls to have a positive body image when they understand that the images they see in the media every day are actually being manipulated. This lesson was well reinforced by the girls who learned to manipulate photos themselves with Photoshop.
